Actually I cheated. That's some rich New Yorkers summer home just across the river from us! *lol* Didn't know it had to be "My" home! ;o)

I live in a tiny lil' semi-detached town house 'cause my ex cleaned me out in a divorce about 12 yrs ago. Mine's paid for though! So's the truck & the boat!

Re: The New HOTD (house of the day)

i've got a medium priced house here in okie land, it's 3600 sq ft, half acre, 3 car garage.... value about 289K with an extra lot.

the current problem is wifey says the house too big.
BUT! we need to build either a RV car port, boat port, or a huge garage...

the property has a covenant that requires the developers approval on any out buildings.....this house is on 2 lots with the second lot being directly behind the first lot and second lot has access from another street....
the second lot could be sold for a home to be built on with no problem...

should i sell this 15 yr old house and build in a new development that has many of these huge outbuilding garages??? OR build on my own property????
this subdivision doesn't have any of the huge outbuilding garages....

i don't know yet if the developer will allow cheap car/motorhome/boat ports to be built on the extra lot.... i don't even know if i want to own a RV/boat/car port..... having an inexpensive car port would still allow the sale of the extra lot if we ever need to sell it.

by writing this stuff out i think i may have answered my own question.

See what i mean? Ever since the purge (maybee even before), iboats is not accepting my host, or Pbase is not allowing iboats to link it.
As my younguns used to say, "it's avergating".
How about thaT?? It werked that time. Figures.

I've only owned 3 GM products. A 1969 Buick LeSabre that burned in front of my house, a 1976 Cadillac factory built limo that I sold to my old boss, and a 1978 Chevy Suburban that I sold to my Dad a few years ago and is still running fine. I've owned so many Mopars I cant even keep track (Chargers, 'cudas, Coronets, Furys, Darts, trucks etc).

I've got to find my digital camera and get some photos going here...including the family perhaps on the other post/thread.
Like a Db.Axx I hid it somewhere in the house last week on the way out the door (while thinking of other things as usual) and now I can't remember what I hid it under.

I do that {to much fun in the '70's and '80's}. Then I get mad when I can't find it but at least I'm mad at myself and do a good job of kicking myself in the butt because its in plain sight the whole time. Tried to take pictures of our place {girlfriends house} but didn't come out to good, to much sun behind the house. All you could see was a shadow....ANIMAL :D

Here is a partial shot of mine. I just got done doing all the cultured stone work on the front. It was part of a twenty year inside/out refresh project. Still need to paint the exterior tho.

Next year, hopefully, will see the addition of a 3.5 car garage/shop on the back of the lot.
