When I winterized my boat I forgot to fill the tank with gas and put the fuel stabilizer in it. How much of a problem is this going to be come spring?

What should I do?

Thanks

You will likely be fine. If you do not have a water seperator, this is a good time to install one. You may have some condensation in the fuel or if you use E-10, you might have some seperation.

Fill the tank with fresh gas before starting it up.

Hi,

fuel stabilizer is intended to be used for the carburetor/fuel-injection system. The tank is ought to be full to the brim with gas to avoid rust.
Your OMC has a carburetor, so it is not that bad. Would be more difficult with MPI-Engines. You should not have any problems. For how long haven't you used your boat?

I think the advice to install a water fuel sep is good if you don't have one----I also would put prob dump some seafoam in at prob twice the dose called for---sure won't hurt anything---then fill up and go for it ---good boating Steve----maybe check and clean and replace all filters before and after you run it
