the right alinement bar ?

i need a alinement bar. ?. service manual says i need C-91-48247 or C-91-57797A1. will the C-91-57797A3 work as well?(this one i seem to be able to find) i seem to be haveing trouble finding the part numbers that the service manual says i need(C-91-48247 or C-91-57797A1)for my 72 mercrusier 165, model 1 drive. in this case all i want to do is to check alinement after pulling the drive to inspect it. (probably needs more than an inspection, but will cross that road when i get to it)

ANY alignment bar on the market designed for OMC and Mercruiser will work on yours.

but i'm right handed??? starboard handed? but if i look where i've been, then i'm port handed. my lord, i didn't know there was so much to be learned about alinement bars. so now i guess i'm lookin for a starboard sided bar now? right, um, starboard?.....i think?....
