Hi,<br /> im not as dumb as i make my self out to be but once again im here to ask u people about advice. as u prolly know i have a 85 evinrude 115 vro v-4 , and it will not start. i took the plugs out 1 at a time and laid the on the block and used jumper wire and turned it over to see if there were getting spark and all 4 were, i also sprayed a squirt of gas in the plug hole and tryed to fire and it started to seems to me like back fire but it would never start, is that a bad thing or a good thing. i am going to buy a compression tester and i already replaced to key switch and all i can think it is ,is a faulty wire some where on the motor. yes i have tryed choking it and its a no go.............than....tex
