Finally had her hauled out today. Beautiful day to do it at least.
Only frustrating parts are that Im stuck on land for the next 6 months or so, and my wallet is $1200 lighter.
Now I can start my hull rebuilding project, or, once the checking account recovers a bit I can. I was a bit surprised when one of the crew with the haulers suggested that if I was reworking the hull, to consider a wave splitter design, as the original bow is way to flat and wide. I told him "my thoughts exactly..."
Really happy with the guys who hauled the boat out. If you're looking for a place in the Burlington VT area to work with, I suggest Fox Marine. They were more than accommodating once I explained my winter plans.
