Whats with this server busy message lately? Been getting this a lot this weekend. I thought everyone would be out boating!

Thanks for bringing it up...pissing me off last few days..do a reply answer to a problem, type yer *** off, then bingo, its history.
Me soon if not fixed...IBoats...we have a problem...sucks big time..took me 6 tries just now to post...

I'm sure they're working on it. It's doing it to me a lot today as well.

If you're afraid you'll lose your post, highlight all your text and hit copy before you post it. If something goes south you can try again and just hit paste. Or you can paste it into notepad and save it for later.

Click the "back" button. open a new tab and browse elsewhere. Return to iboat tab click "forward" button what you typed will still be there.

Still annoying though

Posting has seemingly been at a low ebb this Memorial Day Weekend. That being said it is hard to believe that large numbers of viewers are responsible for this issue.

Everytime this happens, www.iboats.com doesn't seem to have the problem. Interesting, but not surprising.

I had some problems last night getting the same message. Lots of people were online,,,,,must have been lots of broken boats over the weekend? For the number of members, I'm surprised that it doesn't happen more often........SS

Well, you need to be enlightened. Iboats currently has 447 active users, 117,752 members using vBulletin 3.6.7. Most users ever online was 613.

The Canon forum currently has 2,950 active users, 149,417 members using same software, same version. Most users ever online was 4,322. That's 7 times the record number of Iboats. And it doesn't even sell anything.

Feel insignificant?

Same problem here, I've been doing the copy and past thing myself just in case .

Iboats must be getting to big for its britches so to speak.

It has been particularly excessive for me this morning. I don't believe it is due to user overload. This last weekend, participation was at a low ebb and the 'busy server' message was rampant.

Seems fine, and a lot quicker today. Seems when everyone out to play, the gremlins have there way!

But I still was losing the text on a back button before. Of course maybe I could try something different, or experiment, but it works fine now. And way to many times I should have c+p'ed something, and not just here. Ya don't pay attention, and hit the wrong key, and POOF! Grrrrr

I think their problem was service from their ad purveyor, ad-click or something like that.
