the tip of my prop is bent!!!

:eek:the tip of my prop is bent and im wondering should i bend it back? a freind told not to because it will start to shake. Is this true ?:eek:

Depends how much its bent.If too much it will just break off.

post a picture if you can. is it aluminum or stainless? a prop shop could fix it if you cant.

i can 't give pics, its stanless, and the dent is about a half inch on the tip of prop. have you heard of them shaking when you bend them back.

With it being stainless you should be able to have it repaired at a prop rebuilder. Will cost some where between $100 & $150 don't ask me how I know.:D Get you a spare to run with, you should be able to find a solas new for cheap in alum. You can also search craigs list for a spare

If your near Nashville TN I can give you the name of a good rebuilder, Don't ask me how I know:D

Oh Yeah it will shake and do some damage to your lower unit and seals if it's bent much. I don't know this for a fact, but have been told.
