Well as a single gal (of some vintage LOL!) the boating thing is ALL MINE! Been married twice, both mechanically inept, so as the eldest daughter of a mechanic, guess who did/does ALL the work! Everything from engines to replacing soul, to new tops, to upholstery, to painting

Don't forget the fact that you live in Canada. Boating isn't a year round passtime for some of us Canucks.

Here is my admiral at the helm. She always offers to help me wash it at the end of the day and always makes sandwiches and packs the icechest. Plus since i captain the boat 99% of the time she keeps an eye on our 2 year old daughter (in second photo) and 6 month old son (third photo).

Ok, finally got a pic of my better half on the boat today, so here it is.
As for the other questions, she helps by letting me pick out the boat. Today she need actually lower the drive and start the engine when we had to run from a fast storm. Her favorite thing about boating is tanning (she was very upset that it was cloudy today). She's awesome though!

Here is my wife on our way to Lk. George (Fl) doing what she does best. Actually, she's a great help with the boat. Cleans, packs food, towels, dishes, etc to make sure the trip goes off as planned. I take care of the boat and she handles the extras.

My wife and spend a great deal of time on the water with each other. I think we get along best (17 years together) on the water than anywhere! She's the one that takes it off the trailer and puts it on. She does a great job! I laugh all the time becuase we will be a the Launch and some husband is yelling at his wife while she's trying to put it on the trailer. I back down, boats on, and we're gone, they're still there! We should have gotten married on the boat!!!!

Mine is so special I am restoring an old Penn Yan 23' sportfish just for her. She loves the old boat named Baccala, which is an Italian slang and she has no idea what it means.

I am fortunate enough to have a wonderful wife that enjoys the boat as much as I do. She's been there to help clean up the treasure I found, helped replace the decking, and has even bought needed parts. Heck, she even pulled the trailer all the way back on our vacation last summer.

I'd post a picture but she wont let me, very shy.
