The last time I winterized was in 2018. Haven't done it since then.

The Summer of 2019 was when I got rid of that pesky old I/O. Now we're 100% 4-stroke Outboards.

Charlie, you know that we don't usually get snow here in Long Island before Christmas and now it's snowed twice already. Unusual and for the weekend it looks like we could get the same as we did last weekend (3"-4"). Fired up my 2 stroke Toro (ole smokey) and had some fun.
Glad I put these on my 07 Grand Cherokee, I used to use snow tires but got tired of hauling them out of the garage each winter and being semi-retired I don't have to drive that much now.

very good in snow, maybe not as good as true snow tire but good enough!

Lou, looks like someones Wrangler is missing its tires..lol I never liked the way my 06 GC handled in the snow .Part of it was the 17" low profile tires that came on the 65th anniversary edition.Not good in the snow. My past 2 1995s and my current 2004 GC awesome in the snow with the standard tires 225/75 16. I got my snowblower to the front of the garage but have not started it yet, Sounds like Fri will be the day. I used the previous snow in place of my workout.Plenty of exercise last week. Make sure to go out for a drive when there is plenty of snow....Its a Jeep thing!!

You know the other reason I got those was because of the sandy slimy boat ramp at my local beach assn. Don't want to be sliding there. Even tho the boat's not big it is quite heavy. I found that rather than using snow tires like I used to, either the GW Duratrac or General Grabber AT work very well in the snow. They recently rebuilt this ramp but being salt water, there's always slime lol. This Jeep has the QD-2 system with full time 4x4 and electric locking diffs in the rear and in the front, best ever system from Jeep.

At the bigger and busier flat and steep slime ramps. Sometimes a pickup or big car would stay on the good traction area and pull the car and trailer out with a long rope. A beer or junk food was good enough for some pullers.

I pulled a guy off the ramp once. His trailer tires went over the ledge. All he had to offer me was a 1/2 bottle of booze. I took a swig without looking at what is was and thought I was going to die.
It turned out to be 190 proof grain alcohol.
I want to say it was called Graves.
