Thermo Insulation for a fiberglass hull

I'm in the process of restoring a wellcraft Gran Sport I want to insulate the hull . It has heat and a/c but want to add some insulation,my question is what is the best way to go about this, as far as someone saying move to a warmer climate or get a bigger heat and a/c unit dont bother. I want to go about this in the correct way without breaking the bank. I realize that insulating a boat is quite different that insulating a house. Ive read to stay away from the spray foams etc.I have looked around for articles and have gotten no where, I've looked at lowes and home depot at the foam boards just not sure how well they would hold up. Would I fasten the insulation directly to the inner walls of the hull ,I have alot of questions without answers so Im asking for ideas. Im worried about condensation ,mold etc. , YD I know you have seen some Yachts with insulation in it,. Thanks to all Jamie

the insulation on boats is usually just in the heat / air vents. this is just usually pink strand. wrapped around the vent pipe.

any insulation besides rigid foam or pour/spray in expanding (and no i dont mean great stuff) will hold condensation.

to apply it you need to get to the hull, and under the head liner in the cabin
