I'm in the process of restoring a wellcraft Gran Sport I want to insulate the hull . It has heat and a/c but want to add some insulation,my question is what is the best way to go about this, as far as someone saying move to a warmer climate or get a bigger heat and a/c unit dont bother. I want to go about this in the correct way without breaking the bank. I realize that insulating a boat is quite different that insulating a house. Ive read to stay away from the spray foams etc.I have looked around for articles and have gotten no where, I've looked at lowes and home depot at the foam boards just not sure how well they would hold up. Would I fasten the insulation directly to the inner walls of the hull ,I have alot of questions without answers so Im asking for ideas. Im worried about condensation ,mold etc. , YD I know you have seen some Yachts with insulation in it,
. Thanks to all Jamie
