Please see below for my engine model. S/N 1a087602. I'm pretty sure I need to replace my thermostat based on low temp reading. Could someone verify that the two bolts below the horseshoe in the picture are what I need to remove to get cover up and into housing? Thanks

Just curious, how many hrs on your 08 Larson that the thermostat needs replacing. Seems a little unusual for it to act up already.

Its taking a long time to warm up on the guage after initial start. It eventually warms at 175. At low rpm it drops to about 110-120. I can then cruise for 15-20 mins at 3k RPM and it warms to about 130-140 but not until I hit WOT does it go back to 175. I'm thinking thermostat is sticky?

Ok - I'm just getting back to this. I took the two bolts out of the U piece but got a little confused. I couldnt pull off the cover at all. To get to the t-stat do i have to remove part m (in the diagram that don s posted above?) I'm thinking I do. It also means I have to remove the hose correct? If anyone has time to post the procedure on how to do this I would appreciate it. thanks

Yep, all hoses must come off and whole thermostat assembly must be removed........comes apart and goes together just like the picture that Don posted.

You DO NOT have to remove part M, just disconnect the hoses from the tee.
You will have to remove the plastic sleeve, item (i). If it's really rusted in, you may have to break it to get it out.
