I have a 2007 Mercruiser 3.0 raw water engine. I wanted to take the Thermostat out to add some anti-freeze for winter. There is a white plastic looking collar above the Thermostat and I'm not sure if that has to come out but I couldn't get the the stat to budge. I didn't want to ruin it. Any pointers would be appreciated.
