Thieves! They got my snowmachine

Well, my snowmachine got stolen Wed Night/Thurs AM. State Troopers came out filled out all the reports. I was mad and bummed at the same time. I did not have insurance on it specifically (would cover it if I crashed it out in the wilderness or such). I called my insurance agent, amazingly since it was on my property my Homeowner's Insurance is going to cover the loss.
That helps financially, but I really can't stand thieves. It is probably a good thing I didn't catch him (neighbor got a glimpse of him). If I had, I might be in trouble with the law myself right now. SIGH!!

All's well that ends well, right?

Thanks for listening ppls. :)

Re: Thieves! They got my snowmachine

To me it's not the loss of something that rightly belongs to me, that can happen........It's the fact that somebody else is willing to take away from me something I worked hard to acquire. I term it a violation of my person,

Glad all worked out!

How did they get it out of your living room without waking you?

Or weren't you home at the time?

Re: Thieves! They got my snowmachine

Sorry to hear. I'd be mad if they got any of my snowmobiles. I keep em in the garage generally and the full coverage is a few hundred a year including my Floe trailer. Finding a good used sled, not used hard isn't the easiest thing. I'm going to say you will get dinged on your HO insurance for making a claim too. Insurance is a wonderful thing though regardless. My wife just rolled our expensive tow vehicle and sure they will get us with a rate increase but the huge check we got for the small premium gives you some confidence in the insurance industry.

You better have a good way to attach that sign or it would get ripped off too!

Posting that sign indicates that any future action you may be required to take is premeditated. Remove the sign and hope you never need that action. If you are required to take that action, hope that no one ever remembers that sign.
Try posting your marksman awards or spent shells etc.

Man, that just sucks. And no, it's not the money aspect, although your lucky that your homeowners insurance kicked in. They won't here. It just sucks that something that you worked for is taken from under your nose. Shame...a real shame.

Plenty of places to hide the bodies! :)
