My 78 johnson 115 was running perfect when I stored it 6 months ago. Went out the other day and fired her off. Let it run for 5-10 minutes and shut it off. Went out next day and fired her off again, no problems. Now I can't get it started. it doesn't even act like it wants to start. Put in new spark plugs and they don't even appear to be wet from gas. Every thing acts and sounds normal but she just won't start. Any suggestions???Thanks

You will need to remove and rebuild the carbs, as they probably are gunked up with varnis Also, you're gas may be bad if you did not treat it 6 Months ago. Order some rebuild kits and get some carb cleaner and have at it. Ir's not to bad if you have the manual. As a suggestion, mix up some pre-mix 50:1 in a spray bottle and shoot some into the carbs. If it attempts to fire or fires, it's for sure the carbs and/or fuel. I would get rid of the old fuel in the tank, also.
