Re: Think this would be a good boat???

Steve,

So far, it seems that Wylie is less crowded than Norman, though this is the first boating season for us, as well. We will probably go to both lakes, as the spirit moves us. If it's LKN, we'll put in at Blythe Landing. When going to Wylie, we use Copperhead Island. May be too early to tell, but the boaters I've met on Wylie seem to be a friendlier sort, but I havent seen many on either, yet.

You may be able to get an Owners Manual from the Larson website. For your engine and drive, go to the 'Adults Only" section of the I/O forum on this site. You should be able to find a downloadable version for your specific power/drive there.

See you out there!

Super Clean rig! If you can get it around 8200 thats a good deal in my opinion...
Sounds like the seller stayed on top of any needed repairs and was garage kept.Thats a big plus!
Hope the deal works out for you...:)

Congrats Steve! You did good! Looks like you got a real clean boat, for a good price after all! ;) I think that 4.3V6 will grow on you, it did to me. I had twin 1986-205hp (4bbl 4.3V6's) OMC Cobra's in one boat I had yrs ago. If it's carbureted, the first thing I'd do, is look to put a 4bbl on it :)

How much did this boat go for new?

As for the engine, I've been starting to look into a 4bbl carb and manifold. Apparently it makes a huge difference. I just read 30 hp. I highly doubt that, but I'm sure it'll be noticeable. I also really like the fact that it's very reliable.

I just can't wait to get the thing home!

Re: Think this would be a good boat???

Been doing some searching. I think this boat went for somewhere around $25000 new with options.

Now, is the 190 18.5 feet long? The owner told me it's 19.5. I think he was mistaken.

About the warranty, it says it's transferable to the 2nd owner. What about the third? Is it only transferable to the 2nd and not any after that?

Thanks,
Steve
