thinking about 07 MX175 w/volvo... regrets??

Hi guy's,
I'm finally narrowed my choices to; Glastron mx175 or Bayliner 175, both entry level (all I can afford). I'm leaning to the glastron, but I'm a little conserned in getting service for the Volvo, not many shops nearby.
Any thoughts would be great!

glastron is way better and better quailty. volvo is supposed to be the best drive. post a question about their drives in a different forum...whats the difference in price the glastron has got to cost 2-3 grand more right???? xtra value with the glastron..not just a blidgeliner it will hold it value

Yep, 2k more. And I do think I would get that back in resale but that's not a real consern. What I want is the most trouble free boat over the long run!
I do like the idea of the all fiberglass deck and hull. Still worried about the lack of service shops for the volvo in my area.

go to the drive section. i read the vovlo is the best.the 2 boats dont compare in my thoughts as i think the glastron is built better

I Did it!!!
Bought the Glastron today!
Took them both out for a quick test run... no contest!
A moderate chop on the lake, the Glastron took it MUCH better.
Along with the all around beter fit-up, as tight as money is I feel it's an extra 1K well spent!

wow great only a grand more its a no brainer. now you are not a bayliner owner..not to knock them ,but when you say bayliner, everyone thinks cheap boat.best of luck

Congratulations on the purchase. The Glastron also doesnt have the 'Hecho en Mexico" sticker on its transom like the Bayliner.
