Thinking of buying, please give me your opinion

Found this on craigslist and am thinking of buying, seller is sending more pictures and if I like what I see we will be getting together on Saturday if possible. Does anyone have any experiance with this boat or know of any problems associated with this type of boat and motor? Thank you for any thoughts and information.

YO! You are thinking of spending 12k on a 10 year old boat and need info on the model? My opinion is to compare it to 10 others to get the feel of what its worth. Its a buyers market and dont let the seller pressure you. That boat needs to be gone over by someone who KNOWS what to check. Dont buy one if its not. If you cant get someone(pay if needed) to CHECK IT. HEAR IT. DRIVE IT and research the service history. Your talking alot of money my man.

I was going to say the same thing. It's going to be 10 years old. Granted Lund's hold their value but some one is trying to really get some money in their pocket. Find out how long they've been trying to sell it.

Hi guys, thanks for the advice, I believe his is a motovated seller and even he has stated that is just his asking price so believe I can get a better price. If the pictures he is supposed to be sending show the interior is in good shape and lead me to meet and inspect the boat the bargining can begin, am more concerned with the Johson motor, it was on this site that I found out they and evinrude are no longer manufactured and I have no idea if parts are going to be an issue. Thanks for the advice.

the johnson has been discontinued, but parts will be still supported. Evinrude it still in production, with the Etec System. BRP would be out of their mind, to not support the existing Johnson motors, their are still 60 year old Johnsons out there still working.

Thanks TD that was one of my main concerns, if we can agree on a price I do plan to have an expert go over the boat for me to make sure there are no hidden problems. Though the price seems high I have been looking all summer for the type of boat I want and around here there are tons of bass boats but very few of the deep V hulls for sale. Thanks everyone for your help and advise.
