Maybe try looking in to an aluminum cc. I have one and love it. Try SEA ARK, XPRESS, and ALUMACRAFT just to name a few.I'm not sure what's avalible in your area.

Before you narrow it down, take the family and the stuff you normally take with you and load it into a couple of different boats to see how much room you need to be comfortable in this design. Not just for a few minutes, take some time, plus move around as if you were doing typical tasks.

If you will boat on the ocean or a large bay, stick with a 21 footer or longer.

I guess you put up the list before you found out you are going to be a dad.

I didn't look at many, but I like the old aquasport. Note how the Parker, a favorite fishing machine, is not built out family friendly, compared to the Sea Hunt. Most of the people who think CC's are for family use incorrectly think they are all rigged like the Parker. few are nowadays.

The Aquasport is very old and has an old crossflow 200 on it. While they made it look good on the outside, what's underneath the deck. I don't know if there's wood in that boat, but if there is, there is a very good chance it needs to be replaced. Total rebuild.

I have one of those old crossflow 200s, probably the same year, it is a thirsty under powered (for a 200hp rating) motor. Not a bad motor, but an antique compared to the other offerings at similar and lower prices.

DH said that model was lucky to put out 160hp when new, and from my experience I would say that he's correct.
