Thirty year old trailer with thirty year old boat...

My boat is a 1975 Checkmate MX-15 and the trailer it sits on most likely came as a package (99%) sure. The problem is the winch hits the boat when I try and crank it. Why would this happen???

Get a shorter winch crank handle.

Or extend the bow stop arm.

Post a picture but as bitter says the arm that the winch is bolted on may be able to move/adjust
