I have a very large buddy with a very petite wife. We joke around that she slaps his belly and rides the wave in...

I am about 6'1" and weigh about 315lbs......

My wife is 5'2" and is maybe 110lbs......

I have been in front of a 16ft fishing machine before that had a 40hp rude on it, and I know it didn't get that low in the bow....even by myself. Then again the batteries and fuel were in the back and it was old enough to still have a side livewell.

looks like the picture was taken while the trolling motor was running which can drag the front of the boat down.

The guy in that boat looks to be over 6' tall, so with that 'build' I put him at least 240#, and I see up front a trolling motor, a downrigger, an anchor, and what I don't see is probably a 75# battery and who knows what else. No idea the size of that outboard, but I'm betting I could carry it a lot farther than I could the guy fishing!
