IDK Bondo. I have a new boat and I'm not going to put anymore money in this one. It wasn't that nice when I bought it. But I dumped a few thousand into it and enjoyed it for the past 5 years. The 3 liter GM engine is in very good condition. New seats, new bimini top. I just had the EZ loader trailer sand blasted and repainted black. I'm at a dilemma. If I part it out, what do I do with the hull?

You can look for a used drive on craigslist. This time of year especially can get one for a few hundred. You'll get more if you part it out, if you feel like it. Most likely you'll have to pay someone to take the hull.

I'm thinking about donating it to charity. They take cars, trucks and boats running or not. Then I could write off a couple thousand on taxes.

If you do donate it make sure you disclose the damage so someone doesn't get burned.

Hopefully that the kit with bearings included. I have found just the gears for $170 and a kit with gears, bearing and everything for that price. I am in the same boat (lol) as you, blew the yoke seal and now im just waiting for the tool to ship for further teardown.
