I knew it was bad when my wife asked me yesterday what level I had reached LOL! It's just so much fun in addition to being helpful.

I agree as well. But it was a long winter and business was bad, so it became an interesting diversion.

But now it the weather has finally changed for the better and it looks like I'll be coming out of retirement...again. So time will now be in short supply.

Ain't dat de truth. :D

I have 2 forums that I keep up all the time, this one and my brand specific one, I do hit others but mostly in and out, this is the place with the most. Thanks to iboats for giving us this place and we always want to by from the iboats store when we can, that helps keep this place alive, you noticed it is free.

I agree....
I have been a member of my " m109riders.com " forum for a # of years, but now find myself paying more attention to this site, other than that one. That web-site is for my custom motorcycle, so, the boat is a newer infactuation. I am crazy about both, but I think my bike is a little mad @ me now. lol.

Re: This forum is too addictive

I think that all forums are addictive if you are interested in the topic. I will say that this is one of the best forums I've ever been on though. I have started several forums on other totally unrelated topics, and one got pretty large with over 100,000 members. It is a lot of work to keep them well managed and iboats is outstanding. The treatment of new members and rookies in the topic is a real test of the caliber of the community, and I got treated here great as a newbie.

I have to agree with everyone it is addictive and very educational the knowledge gained here is priceless and knowone can take that away from you not like f--e b--k where I see relationships of many years get destroyed because of hopes of something better on the other side of the fence and really no structural meaning except BSing. This site is #1 bar none!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: This forum is too addictive

I am buying a sailfish boat and have attended their forum, I am not all together certain if it is the year and size of the boat I want to chat about or that I am from California. Generally I find them non responsive to my queries

This place is awesome, everybody likes to put their 2 cents in and it is all helpful.

However since I have told everyone I am from California I probably will end up by the wayside

Not :)

Re: This forum is too addictive

Once I found this board I started reading and answering what posts I felt comfortable with. It is a great way to keep my head in the game over the winter. When summer comes and I go back to work I feel a little more confident and get up to speed faster.

OMG over 1200 posts in like 7 months! I spend too much time here.

You are right it is addictive. No, No, I can quit anytime I want.....

Like when we get all the parts and I swap out an Aq125 for a MC V-8 and alpha drive. Then I'll be in here asking questions or maybe too tired to?
