happened on lake of the ozarks on friday this weekend. shows the importance of a lanyard. and to use common sense. slow down. wakes can be catostrophic. not smart. be safe. see a wake slow down. if you want to hot rod and jump them do it alone.

guess an i boater was on board. got to wonder when everyone shakes this off. what was the driver doing with the throttle and was it a wake he hit?

Where does it say in article that one person was a member from Iboats?

ya, my fault. on the other thread i missed the "i got this from another forum". i thought flamingo 1227 was a passenger. he pasted from another forum about the passengers expirence. when i scrolled down the top line was above where i could see it. so i thought he was aboard.

ya after watching it a few times i got that. as the boat came up he went back on it so to keep from over reving the rmps as the engine came to the surface. seems like he done it before. mother nature has a way of throwing a smack down once in a while to show whos boss. glad they are in fact alive. hopefully a lesson was learned. this cat always goes to 1/2 throttle when i cross a wake. i wanna get home in the evening.

My experience is that the number of lifejackets actually worn and the amount of care taken in driving the boat is inversely proportional to the number of bikini's on board.
I'd like to think this changes as we get older...but apparently that math still holds.

It changes for me when one of those bikini's are worn by my wife. She is pretty quick to shoot down my dumb ideas! But you may be on to something there.
