BUT,<br /><br /> ON a 1986 Force 50HP other than the 'mixture screw' above the barrel, are there any other carburetor adjustments to bring the idle up just a tad? It seems to idle a little lower than I'd like at the mixture that I like. I guess I may have it a little rich, but the more lean I make it the more nervous I get about it. lol<br /><br />Thanks!!

HFMed, look on the throttle tower, there should be a flathead screw just below where teh shaft goes to the cam that presses on the carb(opens the throttle plate) The screw holds the throttle tower back from motor to increase idle rpms.. A manual would really help ya..<br /><br />Terry

Be careful not to over adjust the fuel butterfly cam. If you go too far you will increase your RPMs but you will also make the motor more prone to flooding. Chrysler spec on carb is the excentric should have a paper thickness between the throttle stud and the cam. If you are not able to get idle with the butterfly closed something is wrong with your carb or some other part of your fuel system.
