This week's analytical question.....

I am still having trouble sleeping. I have tossed and turned, and spent many a restless night as I pondered that looming unanswered question. Is it fate that I shall never know the real truth? What will I say to my children when they themselves stare at me, the unknowing look in their eyes. Waiting for Dad to unravel the mystery before them....
These questions must be answered

1.) When the ship set ground on the shore of this uncharted desert isle, was the skipper not watching where he was going? Did he not have his weather radio on? Was he really a licensed captain? and through what agency?

2.) Why were there no babies running around the island. Marooned all them years....Would not Mrs. Howell look like a Victoria Secret model after all them years of isolation?

3.) Why WAS Mr Howell carrying so much cash with him any how? Was this a pleasure cruise or a drug run gone bad? Could they not use the bales of illicit drugs to patch the hole in the SS MINNOW? The professor surely could have found a way to do that instead of wasting time making coconut telephones!

4.) Why were the monkey's always smarter than Gilligan? If Gilligan, with his intelligence was a first mate, than does that mean the monkey could be an Admiral?

5.) Lastly, why didn't the skipper order new part's from IBOAT'S and have them shipped there, repaired the boat, and got out of dodge? Was his credit overextended? Was he in a witness protection program and didn't wan't his identity known? Maybe Bush was driving the boat.....

6.) Why didn't the skipper call Don or Bond-o for advice? Does the skipper ride a high horse? Did he think he knew it all?

Now I hope you understand what I have been going through since childhood. These are the answers I seek.......:(

Re: This week's analytical question.....

Geez -- the answer is simple. No cell phones then. No computer, no Internet service so no computer contact or phone connection to IBoats. Even if they could order them, IBoats wouldn't know where to send them since nobody knew what Island they were on. As for Mr. Howell and his money, that's what rich people do! They carry lots of cash because they can. The monkeys were smarter than Gilligan because they were. Gilligan was a dufus.

I suggest you read a newspaper or watch Fox news, ABC new, CNBC news, CNN news, or public television more often. THEN you will have questions that need answers.

Re: This week's analytical question.....

1. He didn't study his charts well or he would have known he was only miles away from an inhabited island. He was probably too distracted with Marry Anne and her Bikini. Again probably too distracted. I think he was not a licensed captain, (but he played one on tv).

2. Mrs. Howell was too old to have kids and who would go for her with Marry Ann and Ginger on the island:rolleyes:.

3. Mr Howell was probably running from the I.R.S. Probably a little of both. Drugs wouldn't hold the water out long enough but if used properly you wouldn't care about sinking, :D

4. Well.....Probably:eek:

5. Al Gore hadn't invented the internet yet:facepalm:

6.As for why he didn't call Don or Bondo is beyond me other than, (again), he was probably distracted with watching Mary Ann and Ginger, and figured if they stayed there long enough their clothes would wear out and fall off of them eventually;)
