Wow, What a shame. I had a 7.5 Fleetwin Evinrude like that a few years ago. Bought it used when I graduated highschool. Motor didn't even look as good as that one but I babied that thing because it was mine and I paid cash for it with money that I'd earned. Bought the boat and motor for 300 bucks and sold it for nearly twice that but it's the one motor I really regret getting rid of just because it was my first. I look back and think man I was a real idiot for not setting that motor in the corner of the shop until I had time to restore it like I should have. Then I stumble upon this and think wow this kid isn't much younger than me and I'm feeling bad for selling my first outboard and he's getting kicks for blowing his up? Hmmmm maybe there were some values that were not instilled in him during his raising as there was in others. What a shame. Decent folks try to make them run better and some geniuses try to make them stop running!

Lots of poor folks could have used that old good running OB ... so why not have given it away instead of destroying it ??? Does this behaviour represent the future of America ????? I am worried ...
