I can't find any soft spots on the floor... Gonna rip up the carpet and replace (I hope) this weekend the only place I can find any resemblance of rot is in the ski locker I need to prone it a little and see what this crack looks like a little deeper... Inf act this is the only crack or any type of fracture I can find on the whole boat what do uthink?

Something else you might consider, make a larger base from a nice piece of wood such as mahogany then attach your base to this as it spreads out the load to be less tippy and will give you new locations for your mounting holes to the floor. I did this on my seats and have received many compliments on the looks.

Yes, that's a toggle. Power steering pump. The proper fluid level should be shown on the dipstick.

So I top it off with regular automotive power starring fluid?

Mercruiser power steering pump fluid. You don't want to mix different brands.

If you must take the boat out, go only at idle speed and don't sit on the seat. If the bolts pull out and you fall, you might lose control of the boat.

I want to seal up the old holes..... Or use those toggle bolts... But then how would I seal up the hole around the s!smaller bolts? So I am considering properly sinking the lag screeds ( it is 3\4 ply with an additional 1" of some kind of wood beneath it...) To seal those holesand but a dab of marine rtv on the shank as it goes down and seal the old holes with the same. Would I be ok? An thnx for the tip on power starring fluid and what type... I don't have a manual yet... Gonna have to go on eBay and buy one for it

So I bought the toggle bolts and some shorter lags. Tryed to get the tofgle s to work and just couldn't get them to turn at the bottom of the whole. I recovered the deck in new outdoor carpet. And ended up mounting with shorter 3/8 lag bolts ... If they/when they back out I will have to play with the toggles some more and get them to work. The good news is the floor looked good when I took the carpet out! Thanks for the help y'all!

Seal the holes with 3m 4000 or 4200. You can coat the bolts with it also, but it will make them difficult to remove later on.

So how was the maiden voyage? Great score on the boat by the way. Any pics of what you have done?
