Whataya think? Shes 16, has a 19 yo live in boyfreind, does shows for children/teenagers, and is now pregnant. What a wonderful world we live in freinds.

Sick that's all I can say. Not trying to hijack at all but I know of a situation where a 15 year old girl became pregnant by an 18 year old here local and there isn't going to be any charges put on the 18 year old . Now she is in high school and a mom. Actually I heard she was 14 at the time she got pregnant I don't know for sure. I'll half to double check but I heard that her parents was going to let her quit school at the end of the year so they can get married, how special. The parents let them close the doors to the bedroom and what do ya know. Where are the parents?

IMHO For one it is NOT national news worthy. Then the older sister being a slut by practically exposing herself in concerts makes a great roll model huh....Sounds more like mom is wanting to clear her chicken coup out. I think it is disgusting and that mom did not properly supervise as a parent.

I know I wasn't perfect in raising my family, but my daughters did not get pregnant until they were in their 20's.

Come to think of it,only about one hundred and twenty years ago this would have been totally acceptable in any small settlement out west.

Exactly! But, I guess because she's Brittany Spears younger sister, and apparently she must be popular with the younger generation, so I guess some will imitate her, as a way to rebel against their parents, or society (personally I never knew she existed before this?) but what do I know,,, I had no idea who Hannah Montana was until recently

I cant believe i even saw this post in here. Why do you care? Go to the local mall you'll see several young girls toting kid. where are there parents? Maybe when reality slaps that dumb ***** in the head she'll shave her head, sell her young pretty hair to a needy cancer survivor and dissapear. And as far as him isnt that statuatory rape..... It's not that big a deal IMO. There are literally millions of 16 yo girls being normal, getting through high school, working and getting on with a good life in the USA.
This is only news because it sells headlines.
The Spears family is a trainwreck but they are few and far between.
If I am wrong, then head for the hills!

I say give the girl a break. If it wasn't for her sisters fame the whole world would not be scrutinizing her morals. Has to be a tough position to be in at 16. And just remember when you all were 16 , you were either having sex or wishing you were having sex and you were trying to do it with 16 year olds just like yourself.

The real problem here is not that they were having sex. Everybody I know has/had sex at that age. The problem is that they were having unprotected sex. If you have children over 14 you really should have a honest relationship with them about sex. So, that when they start they can come to you and ask for your help in deciding the best method of birth control. Sex happens, deal with it.

I think the saddest part is that so many Americans know who this girl is and actually care about this type of news. And half the kids who watch her show are the idiots who cant find the USA on a map.

America needs to smash their TVs and get a life. Parents need to stop worrying about their social status and be parents.

Watching TV is the last resort in my list of entertainment ideas. I kick my kids off the TV all the time and we find stuff to do.

Who cares? At least they got enough money to raise the kid and not depends on welfare like the million of other cases that we don't never ever hear about. And Ken, if you move up here with us where there are no grass to mow in the middle of December and in about a month you can drive a semi-truck across the lake. You'd be watching TV too buddy.
