Ok sir, then what do you call it? Mine has a lever on it that connects via a rigid rod (did have) to the carburetors butterfly control linkage. Per the serv. man. the lever varies (V) the ratio (R) of the oil injection (O) from a lean 80:1 at idle thru 50:1 at WOT.

Keep in mind that when you switch to pre-mix you will have to increase fuel as the oil will lean out the mixture.

After reading this several times I finally realized what you were saying. However sir, since his Autoblend is in line from the fuel tank to the engine, his engine does not have an on board oiling system like the later models had with built in tanks on the engine. So his engine is already setup for 50:1.

All he has to do is to go to an auto parts store and buy a hose barb union in 5/16 or 3/8" as required, remove the hose from the AB, splice together, pull the power plug on the AB and be on his way with his 1 pt to 6 gallon ratio fuel in his tank.

I wrote on my boat, next to the fill port to "mix oil" so that I wouldn't forget. One DOES NOT want to forget to do that!
