Why is it that the Suzuki DT150 throttle body valve doesn't open up completely when the throttle is set to WOT?? It is slightly offset. The adjustments don't seem to allow this to happen either. Are you not taking away from the capability of the motor to breathe making the most available horsepower??

Re: throttle body valve

That is correct for the DT150. The DT200 uses a different throttle body and engine management computer.

Lakensea, I'm just curious as to why it doesn't open up fully?? Everything else that I've owned with a throttle body opened up fully at wot. Will this not affect the power generated by the motor at WOT?? In other words, there may be more in that engine.

Re: throttle body valve

That's because the DT150 is a de-tuned DT200.
