Hi Everyone
I have a 1988 force 50HP on 20' pontoon had it out last weekend and my forward throttle
travels 3/4 of the way between n and WOT before I get any change in RPM's and RPM's at WOT
are only 4000. Is there any adjustment on the throttle cable to give me better responce with
throttle controls?
Thank's

bigbronco,

Look where the cable attaches to the gear shift lever and throttle under the hood of the engine.

There should be some threads on throttle cable end to allow adjustment.

Re: Throttle cable adjustment

It shouldn't. As long as you adjust the cable-ONLY.
