Hello all,

I am having trouble getting the control box off so I can replace the throttle cable. The two screws on the front side just keep spinning... am I not doing something right? Here is a photo of the control box.

Re: Throttle control box

I am guessing you have some sort of nut on the back side of the bolt you are trying to remove. This is typical of mos control boxes. You may have to use the access panel in the console to get a wrench on those pesky nuts.

I felt back there, but couldn't feel a nut, just alot of foam. Do you think it's under the foam??

Re: Throttle control box

put a wedge between the box and side, then try. yes the nuts could be covered in foam.
