Guys need help on this one. I bought this boat last year and all is good with it running but the throttle handle is loss and moves back and forth. As u can see in the picture there appears to be something missing that hold tension on the lever. I just don’t know what it is? This is on a 98 model 90hp Evinrude motor throttle control.

You are missing the boot #126017 that is pushed in to allow the handle to be pulled out for throttle without shifting. That control is called a Concealled Side mount. Just a little rubber boot, but they are proud of them!

I finally found the boot today. Local supply shop said it was not in stock or could be ordered. After a lot of research i found one and ordered it! You are right are proud of it for sure $30 dollars with shipping. I guess i just unscrew the white peace that is pushed in and put the boot there and tighten the screw back up?
