Throttle/gear shift control thingy... Loose/broken?

Can someone give me the proper term for the arm that is the gear selector, throttle control, etc. I hat not knowing the proper terms for stuff and sounding like an idiot.

Anyway, that thing seems very loose and sloppy on my new to me '89 Celebrity. Does anyone know where I can find a parts blow up of it so I can figure out how to disassemble it and see if I can clean/tighten it up. Also the little interlock lever at the top (to keep from going form fwd straight to neutral) seems to be non functional.

May or may not help... especially since I don't know what sort of control it is (Merc?)...

There may be set screw on the bottom of the armature that engages upward into the shaft. Tighten it.

Add more information and you may get a better response.
