Start with the Inexpensive Basics......

Is it getting Fuel ?? Fuel Filters,.. Should be 2......
What do the Plugs Look Like ???? Change them Only if Necessary......
How about the Inside of the Dist. Cap ?? Corrosion ??,... Again, Change it Only if Necessary......

How long has it been since it's Last Tune-Up ????

Also look at the ignition module. I've seen several that get water in the connecter and the terminals corrode and sometimes even corrode clear off.
The module and harness can be mounted either on the exhaust elbow or the distributor.
