Throttle Slipping

The throttle on my 2008 Larson Cabrio, 5.7L Volvo Penta, keeps slipping. Start crusing at ~3500 and within a few minutes it has dropped back, need to keep my hand on it or hang something off the handle to keep it at the same positon. Tried to adjust the center nut but it seemed tight so not sure if or where there would be another adjust ment. Any suggestions?

Most throttle and shift controls have a tension. Without knowing what control you have, it's impossible to answer your question. Can you post a picture of your control?
