Hello,
another question concerning my Tohatsu M3.5B2 outboard.
Today i took a closer look at the carburetor, and i noticed, that the throttle valve is never automatically in its lowest possible position. I can always push the valve (the upper pin) further down by hand. From the service manual i think a spring should pull the valve down, which works, but it never pulls it down completely. I can always push it down some millimeters by hand.
I tried pushing the throttle valve further down by hand, and it worked, but once i move the throttle lever up and then down again, the valve doensn't go back in the lowest position but stops some millimeters before.
Is this normal? Or is the spring too weak? Any suggestions?
Dave
