Tells us about the shop that you have this boat at please. Did you see the Mercruiser Factory Authorized sign out front? It is there isn't it? Tell us how many mechanic trained & certified certificates are posted inside the shop. Tell us how many good references you got on this shop before you went there. How long has this shop been in business with a good reputation?
Were not sure who you picked as your mechanic but not everybody that has tools and says they been "wrenching all their life" is a competent mechanic for what you need.
