Hello,
Just bought a 1986 Formula 206 Spider, Merc 350/Alpha One. Finally picked it up this weekend and started thinking about adding a thru hull exhaust. I read in the Formula manual that it was offered as an option for this boat, and I saw that it has two square spaces in the transom where it looks like the tips would have been mounted. I would like to install one of the Hardin Marine or Corsa exhaust diverter systems. However, the motor has 3" exhaust risers and I see that all the diverter systems are 4" in diameter. Is there a way I can make the diverters work with my motor? Do I need to replace the risers? Any advice would be appreciated, thanks.
