Thru-hull questions

On my boat (which is currently in pieces) there are some thru-hull openings for the drain plug, splash well, etc... These holes go through the skin and cap. Should I glass these up and drill new ones when the boat is back together or leave them and install new fittings into them?

i try to leave them and install new fittings, you can drill them out after the transom is installed, they also make good places to put thru bolts when installing a new transom, they are ususally in places you cannot get clamps.
