I have posted this once before but I must be missing or overlooking something. I have the electrical drawings and have looked them over multiple times. The wire that needs to be grounded to turn the motor off is the same wire that the mercury tilt switch grounds to to stop or prevent the engine from starting. I have used a multimeter and checked the connection when the key is turn to the OFF position and it grounds to the engine. I even installed an external emergency OFF switch connecting the same OFF circuit but the engine will not turn off when the key or the switch is flipped? Anyone experience this problem? I dont like choking the carbs to kill the motor. Not to mention how unsafe it is.
