I am looking for plug wires and a cap and rotor because the coil wire on one engine is arcing at teh coil. Even when i put a new wire on so i believe the cap/rotor may be worn.
There seems to be many diff part numbers for them and its confusing.
I have a 1989 carver with twin 350 5.7 small blocks. The Top of the engine says thunderbolt IV. The engine tag is shown in a pic below. The cap/rotor kits appear to have 3-4 diff part numbers all saying they fit thunderbolt. I believe the bolts on my distributor are across from each other but not sure about the height, some part numbers for the cap/rotor are 805759Q3...T3...T1...etc

Any help would be appreciated

Your engine serial number 0C391208 and valve cover info tag says this engine is a right hand rotation engine making the firing order a bit different then most likely the other engine in your boat.....So be mindful of that as you install new spark plug wires.

MIE RH-INCL-BW-2.0-RWC-NO FLANGE 5.7L CARB, MIE 1988 5.7L Model Number 3572139AS 230 HP/5.0L 260 HP/5.7L ENGINE, https://www.perfprotech.com/mercury-...g/umodel/10420

Distributor and Ignition Components
Your plug wires for this serial number should be Merc OEM part number PLUG WIRE KIT (R.H. ROTATION) 84-816761Q3.
Your cap would be 805759T1
Rotor would be 13524T1

If the coil is arcing then the top tower may be cracked and hard to see so you may need a new one too along with a new OEM coil wire and/or OEM wire boot for the coil side. This coil is sometimes hard to get to stop arcing without OEM wire end boots.

Thanks for the help. I will order the parts up and just in case install a new coil, worth the $45 extra.

If you find a crack in the coil tower, just gouge it out a bit, and fill it with nail vanish.... Works a treat....
