ThunderJet Boats

ThunderJet boats must be predominantly a NW Boat, as I have been reading this forum for some time and have not read/seen anything about them.

I have recently bought a Luxor 20ft O/B 115 hp Suzuki (after a lot of research) My decision was geared by it being aluminium, cost of maintenance, and included fittings. This is my second aluminium boat (last one was a 16 ft Smokercraft)

I would like to hear about any experinces with them good or bad.

they sell those at a dealer , lake havasu arizona,. they look really good,.and a jet would be great for the river,.

Stoked- Took my new boat out this afternoon to a local lake. Tested everything, everything worked like a charm. Even started the troller motor. The Suzuki 115 woked well and was very quiet. Am still running it in so don't know that WOT speeds are as yet.

I have a 2003 ThunderJet Luxor with a 115 and 15 4 stroke kicker....I love the way its set up. I bought it used off of c list. couldn't be happier. it's a prop so no shallow rivers but it does the columbia just fine and crossing the bar is no problem. they haven't changed the design since this model came out so mine looks and runs just like new.
