Well, I was born in NYC, and live about 50 miles from the city limits in an area full of NYC refugees, but I don't think I have such an accent. At least not the archetypical Brooklyn or Bronx accent, known for the "kawfee" pronunciation.

I only tie up to boaters I don't know when I intend to plunder the vessel, conscript the males, enslave the females, and scuttle the lesser ship. Made some life-long mates that way.

Hint: don't forget to untie before you scuttle the lesser ship. Worse than forgetting the plug.

I really need to meet some people around Rochester who are into boating. It feels like I have to join a Marina or something to be in the club lol. I do have a marina season launch pass, but that is about it.
