Tight steering after lubed? 40hp Merc

Ive got an 81 tracker, 80' 40hp Merc.. It has the hydraulic steering I guess. It got real tight so I lubed the 2 or 3 fittings I could find on it until I purged out all the old grease.. It is still real tight.. Any way to adjust this?<br />Thanks

I think that unit came with a cable steering system and sounds like a bad cable

i had a good cable, but a frozen yoke collum. disconnect the cable from motor and make sure you can move motor easy by hand
