Tilex on the underside of my bimini?

I use Tilex Mold remover for every mold removal application I have, tub, sink, outside chairs, etc. What about my precious bimini? Rather not buy marine stuff if it is all the same.

Thx.

Be real careful about detergents on your bimini. I did some mild scrubbing with Liquid Tide and bleached the blue out of my Sunbrella in a couple of places for my trouble.

I'd say Tilex would be equally if not more harsh.

Tilex does have bleach. Look for something else that kills mold/mildew. Check on spray 9, Castrol Super Clean, Greased Lightening etc.

I try to use only marine products on marine items. Use anything that says it's safe for sunbrella on the canvas. I look at it this way. Something like mold removal on a canvas is done onced MAYBE twice a year. That $15-$20 bottle will last a few seasons.

"Noboday cares that they saved $10-$12 bucks on cleaner when they're spending $800 -$1000 on new canvas".
