Tiller conversion

Hi all
I'm trying to find out if I can convert a 60hp mercury outboard from remote steering to tiller. The serial# is B396054 which I believe checks to be a 1989. The first listing I see for a tiller on a 60hp is 1992. If I remember I've seen a 1989 with tiller steering. If it's possible what conversion kit would I look for? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I thank you all for any time spent helping me with this

Even if there is a kit, it would probably be more cost effective to sell what you have and buy a tiller steer model. Those kits are very high. Check some of the online parts places that have parts diagrams to see what's available.
