Tilt and Trim HELP!

I have a 1987 suzuki 115hp .The tilt and trim won't go up or down . Nothing hapens when you pres the button on the motor . So I relese the presure on the tilt and trim motor but the motor still won't lift all the way up .

Have you tried testing the tilt relays on the motor to make sure they work correctly? Could be a bad switch at the motor, bad switch at the throttle, bad trim/tilt relays, bad motor or bad hydraulic valves. A repair manual should be able to walk you through the troubleshooting issue for all these items.

I had the same problem with my 115 Suzuki. It was the trim/tilt relay.

I unscrewed the manual release valve to lower the motor base and all of the insides came out. I have a 1983 DT 140. Is there a diagram that shows where the parts go? Can you e-mail me? I would appreciate that very much.
