Tilt and Trim HELP!!!!

Hello,

I have an 1989 Invador with a 4c volvo motor.

Well when i have the motor on not in gear the prop can move up and down
but once i put it in gear and give it gas the prop drops down. And I cant tilt/trim it out while going it will not move. I was wondering if it does this on all these kinda of boats or do i have something wrong.????????

Yup -- you have something wrong. Trim should stay where you set it and should be able to be adjusted at any speed and stay there. There is a leak in the hydraulic system or the system needs fluid.

But i dont understand how it could be a hydraulic when it has a motor that moves it up and down.
