Tilt and trim kit

I'm relatively new to boating (2nd season), so please excuse my ignorance . I currently have a sunbird ski boat with a Johnson 48 special outboard that had an aftermarket tilt and trim kit fitted to it. We are no longer using this boat but are rebuilding a 28ft Aqua Patio with a 75 hp Evinrude with no tilt and trim. My question is in 2 parts, 1. Can I take the kit from the Johnson and fit it on the Evinrude, and 2 . What major differences if any would it provide.

What brand is the kit. Several aftermarket kits are available. It's an easy swap depending on which kit..

Benefits - I have no pontoon experience, so can't guess on that part..
